	Electric Coupler Electric couplers provide trainline connections for various electrical circuits such as propulsion, braking, door operation, communications, lighting and electronic networks. High Speed Ethernet and other network data transmission options are available. The electric coupler design includes an automatic shutter to cover contacts when uncoupled. Contacts can be arranged as needed using button, spring/fixed or pin/sleeve type designs furnished with silver or gold-plated surfaces. 	Electronic Brake Control Units Standard rack-mounted Electronic Brake Control Units (EBCU) are responsible for system control, wheel slide protection and diagnostics. The EBCU delivers information via a local LED display on the front panel or deeper diagnostics via USB, Ethernet, or MVB communication. Monitoring can be done in real-time and can be recorded. All faults are annunciated and recorded for later evaluation.

	Electronic Governors The compact aftercooler used with the E-1A Air Dryer maintains discharge temperature within 5.6°C (10°F) of ambient, with dew point suppression 39°C (70°F) and 83°C (150°F) using the higher performance canisters. The ES-30 On/Off Governor uses an electronic pressure switch, a mechanical contactor and a DC/DC converter for outstanding adjustability and maintainability. Additionally, Wabtec now offers the ES-40 (DC motor control) and ES-40A (AC motor control) Electronic Governors, advanced motor switching governors that eliminate the need for motor contactors and electro-mechanical pressure switches.
pas d'image	Emergency Communication Units ANNAX offers emergency communication units which enable passengers to report emergencies and contact train personnel to describe the occurring emergency and receive instructions by personnel. The compact emergency communication units can be installed in various locations within the vehicle. The design of the housing can be customised by ANNAX according to the interior of the respective vehicle and ensure a secure fit. Naturally, the emergency communication units can be combined with and integrated into the ANNAX PIS.
